Get the SCOOP on Daddy Dave's Diaper Drive
As they say in the movie, TOP GUN, "Negative, ghost rider, the pattern is full." WELL, SO IS OUR BABY CLOSET!!!
Thanks to the overwhelming donations at all 3 Leatherby's Family Creamery locations, the baby closet is now stuffed with over 16,000 diapers and 20,000 wipes. As Daddy Dave’s son, Alan Leatherby said, “Having had 10 children, 40 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren, my father knew the value of a diaper.” We are thankful that so many could join us in honoring Daddy Dave and hope you will continue to support the Sacramento Life Center as he did.
“It was heartwarming to see the Sacramento community come together to support local moms and babies in need, as well as to honor my dad who believed so much in this cause,” said Marie Leatherby, Executive Director. “Thank to you everyone who brought diapers or donated online – these diapers mean the world to families in our community.”
